Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing excellent patient care. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical environment, contributing to patient safety and well-being. Prior experience in pharmacy assistant roles is highly valued, along with strong communication skills and familiarity with KROLL.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently Manage inventory by stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and placing orders for supplies Enter patient information and medication details into electronic health records with precision Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication instructions, and ensuring patient comfort Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring adherence to safety protocols Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery Keep the pharmacy environment clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Requirements

Previous experience in pharmacy setting is mandatory

Experience as a pharmacy Assistant is highly advantageous Strong understanding of Pharmacy Work flow, Kroll Software and Pharmacy Billing Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members Commitment to providing compassionate patient care Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Certification or training related to pharmacy assistance roles is a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
