Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated

Pharmacy Assistant

with aspirations of becoming a pharmacist. This role offers hands-on learning in a professional pharmacy environment, working directly with our diverse patient base. You'll gain experience in prescription preparation, patient support, and pharmacy operations while being mentored by our pharmacist team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and packaging prescriptions under pharmacist supervision Maintain accurate patient and medication records Support inventory management (ordering, receiving, stocking medications) Provide friendly, professional service to patients at pick-up and over the phone Assist with compounding preparations (training provided) Help with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

Strong interest in pursuing a career in pharmacy (pre-pharmacy or science students encouraged to apply) Excellent communication and organizational skills Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Previous customer service or pharmacy experience is an asset, but not required -- training will be provided
