Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting with medication preparation, inventory management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting.

Duties

Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Manage inventory levels, ensuring that medications and supplies are stocked appropriately. Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to medication handling and storage.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a hospital environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration practices is preferred. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
