Pharmacy Assistant
Job Description
Anchor Compounding Pharmacy , independent and locally owned pharmacy in Nanaimo is looking to hire a pharmacy assistant for full time/part time position . Computer efficiency and positive attitude are imperative for this position. Experience preferred however, not required as we are willing to train the right individual. We are looking for someone who is confident with their skills and can learn quickly in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
intake and dispensing of prescriptions
using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels
ordering items
maintaining and counting inventory
receiving, loading, unloading deliveries
Blister packaging of meds.
answering customers questions face to face or by phone
preparing, pre-packing, assembling and labelling medicines
handling and processing till transactions
referring problems or queries to the pharmacist
additional duties when necessary
Wage will be based on experience and negotiable.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
Flexible language requirement:
French not required
Schedule:
8 hour shift
