We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that medications are stored properly. Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients. Support medication administration processes, including the preparation of medication for administration by healthcare staff. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards, including safety protocols. Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing prescription records.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant using Kroll in a Canadian Pharmacy is required Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable. Experience in a hospital setting is advantageous, particularly in understanding the workflow of medication administration. Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care are essential. Chinese speaking will be an asset Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
