Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and efficient administration of medications. This position requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns related to medications. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and inventory management. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a hospital setting to facilitate patient medication needs. Organize and maintain the pharmacy workspace, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness. Support the training of new pharmacy staff as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare professionals effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support.

Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
