Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns Support patient care by gathering necessary patient information. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in acute care settings to ensure optimal medication management for patients. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to assist in the interpretation of prescriptions and medication orders. Contribute to the management of inventory, ensuring that all medications are stocked appropriately and within expiration dates.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant Proficiency with community pharmacy operations is mandatory Experience with KROLL is essential Strong understanding of patient service principles and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Proficiency in medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction.
