Pharmacy Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a people friendly, customer oriented and enthusiastic candidate to join our team.
This Pharmacy Assistant role is a part time position based out of our Hello Pharmacy store in Merritt, BC.
Experience working in a pharmacy is an asset. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must! Previous experience with Kroll and compounding would be considered an asset.
This role will perform pharmacy assistant duties, including, but not limited to:
Customer Care - answering calls, attending to customer needs, etc.
Process, prepare, and compound prescriptions
Maintain prescription and inventory record keeping systems using Kroll
Maintain proper drug storage and security
Prepare and settle third party insurance claims and records
Other pharmacy assistant duties as per pharmacist requirements
