Reporting to the Pharmacy Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Complete both manual and automated medication packaging including pouch strip, assorted blister packaging and central fill integration.
Stock and organize pharmacy shelves; monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking.
Support the pharmacist in administrative tasks such as filing, paperwork, and communication with healthcare providers.
Ensure confidentiality and privacy of personal health information.
Perform Compounding duties (Level A).
Perform routine care and maintenance of dispensing automation (PACMED, ScriptPro).
Perform cashing duties, serve guests, and perform general housekeeping duties as required.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in a progressive, patient-centred Pharmacy and:
You have completed the Pharmacy Assistant Program Diploma or have a minimum of 5 years Pharmacy Assistant experience.
You have experience in the operation and maintenance of dispensing automation systems.
You have knowledge and understand pharmacy accounting procedures.
You have experience in pharmacy inventory management.
You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum level of supervision.
You have experience in preparing and dispensing medications for care home patients.
You have advanced technology skills including Kroll dispensing software, accounting software, electronic ordering, dispensing automation.
You are honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
You have the ability to pay attention to detail.
You have point of sale experience and can work in a fast-paced, guest facing environment.
You possess manual dexterity along with keyboarding skills.
