Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently Manage inventory by restocking shelves and verifying medication supplies Prepare prescription labels and package medications according to safety standards Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision Maintain accurate records of medication transactions and patient information Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including medication storage and handling procedures Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims as needed Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate effective medication administration and patient support

Qualifications

Prior experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting is highly desirable Experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role is preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to service delivery Ability to work accurately under pressure and handle sensitive information confidentially Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is a plus Effective communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role

Pay: $17.20-$24.45 per hour
