Best of Kelowna Pharmacy seeking an assistant with superior customer service to join our team. We are are a customer centric integrated pharmacy offering a full compliment of specialized and traditional services. Compounding and functional medicine is the backbone of our business and the ideal candidate would possess a similar mindset.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care, and pharmacy operations.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide quality customer service to patients
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones and managing patient records
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail pharmacy or hospitality is an asset
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
