Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant Instructor



Position Summary

Western Community College is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant Instructor to join our instructional team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and the healthcare field and who enjoy mentoring and guiding students toward career success.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in alignment with the Pharmacy Assistant program curriculum. Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and assess performance through assignments, quizzes, and exams. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student success. Stay current with industry trends and update instructional materials as needed.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution Minimum 2 years of work experience in a pharmacy setting (community or hospital) Strong understanding of pharmacy practices, including dispensing, inventory, and customer care Excellent communication and organizational skills Previous instructional or training experience is an asset
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed Term Contract

Duration: October 1st, 2025 to February 18th, 2026

Benefits:

Extended health care after 3 months

Monday to Friday (4 hours per day from 4 pm to 8 pm)
