Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and service. Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and medication administration. Support the management of medication stock levels, ensuring that all supplies are well-organised and readily available. Assist in the administration of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in pharmacy practice. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills within the pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable. Knowledge of medication administration processes and patient care practices. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare professionals effectively.
