Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and a commitment to patient care in a hospital setting.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventory. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from patients and healthcare professionals. Support medication administration processes, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Organize and manage pharmacy supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed. Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow within the pharmacy. Uphold cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration processes and medical terminology is essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus but not required.
