Duties
- Assist pharmacists and technicians in dispensing medications and providing superior patient care
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter prescription information into computer systems - Prepare blister pack/compliance pack medication utilizing BlistAssist. - Assist in the compounding of medcation
- Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous pharmacy experience is an asset, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation - Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists and technicians in providing quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication dispensing, inventory management, and customer service. You will work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of medications to patients.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of medication administration, be familiar with pharmacy operations, and possess excellent organizational skills. Attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate medication preparation and proper record keeping. Additionally, your ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals will contribute to the overall success of our pharmacy.
