Baltimore Pharmacy is a locally owned and operated community pharmacy servicing the Southern Shore for over 35 years! We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our patients to provide the highest level of care in a professional and strictly confidential environment .

We are looking to add a pharmacy assistant to our team! Salary negotiable based on applicants experience and prior training.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. Providing customer service by answering inquiries, addressing customer concerns, and providing information. Operating computer systems and software for prescription processing, inventory management, and patient records. Performing administrative tasks, such as handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing billing and insurance information. Maintaining patient records and confidential information in accordance with privacy regulations. Managing and organizing inventory, including receiving, stocking, and rotating medications and healthcare products. Cashier duties such as processing payments and handling cash transactions. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the pharmacy setting. Support pharmacy operations by managing a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

Experience is a benefit but not a requirement if applicant has a positive attitude and ability to learn efficiently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient computer/data/entry skills Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities Certificate of conduct with vulnerable sector check required for successful applicants. First aid training required but can be provided by employer to successful applicant. PHIA training required but can be completed after successful application.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
