We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently Manage patient records, update medication profiles, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on medication usage under supervision Handle inventory management, including stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and placing orders for supplies Support medication administration processes as directed by licensed pharmacists Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy environment Follow all safety protocols and adhere to regulatory standards related to medication handling and patient privacy

Qualifications

Previous hospital experience or pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Certification or training as a pharmacy technician is a plus but not mandatory Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
