Contract: Permanent full-time hire
Work Location: Etobicoke, ON

Only candidates with pharmacy assistant/technician experience or schooling will be considered. Competitive rates to qualified candidates

Duties

Interaction with patients in a pleasant and professional manner Capable of multitasking: customer service, answering phones, prioritizing tasks efficiently positive attitude, work independently and as a team member Capable of working in a high volume, fast-paced pharmacy Patient profile management and updates Knowledge of Third Party adjudication and billing Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems Accurately and efficiently preparing prescription orders (counting tablets & labeling bottles) Taking care of the fridge temperature log ensuring everything is up to date and functional Preparing compliance packages Cleaning, and ensuring the orderly pharmacy work environment Performing expiry checks of all items in the pharmacy and managing returns Preparing dispensed medication for delivery Accurate data entry skills (entering patient and prescription information ) General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary,

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years pharmacy retail experience Minimum 1year experience with Kroll and PharmaClik Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation Excellent problem-solving skills Capable of multitasking: customer service, answering phones, prioritize tasks efficiently positive attitude, work independently and as a team member Fluent in English (reading, writing, verbal).

fluency would be considered asset flexibility in work hour schedule, including evenings and weekends
