Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting with medication administration, inventory management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of medications. Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, addressing concerns, and guiding patients through medication instructions. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Uphold safety standards and adhere to all regulatory requirements within the pharmacy environment.

Skills

Knowledge and familiarity with medication administration processes. Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication with healthcare providers. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in medication dispensing and record keeping. Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork within the pharmacy team.
