Job Description
Graduate of Canadian accredited pharmacy assistant program to work as part of the team in holistic community pharmacy supporting the pharmacist with day to day operations. Self motivated people person with positive attitude and works well with co-workers and customers. Certification required. Experience mandatory.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be integral to the healthcare team, providing essential support in patient care. Reporting to the pharmacist, your core skills in medical terminology and patient interaction will ensure accurate dispensing and patient education. Your premium experience in community pharmacy and as a pharmacy assistant will enhance your ability to manage prescriptions effectively. By leveraging your relevant skills, you will contribute to a seamless pharmacy operation, ultimately promoting the well-being of our patients and supporting their healthcare journey.
70% of this position will be in compounding and ~30% in day to day dispensing. Therefore, compounding pharmacy experience is access.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
