Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare and providing exceptional patient care in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering inquiries and resolving issues
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry and insurance billing
Experience
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Kroll experience is mandatory
- Minimum 1 year experience required
