Custom Health Willowgrove Pharmacy provides a wide variety of pharmacy services and a personal approach to our patient-centric pharmacy business. In addition to retail pharmacy services, Willowgrove specializes in compliance packaging using PacMed, SynMed, and Spencer machines to provide services for long-term care homes, personal care homes, facilities, group homes, and individual patients.
Custom Health Willowgrove is looking for a hard-working, motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our pharmacy team as a Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
Prescription entry and filling in retail pharmacy. Directing all questions relating to prescriptions, health matters, or medications to the pharmacist. Answering all incoming telephone calls in a professional manner. Pharmacy Assistant will assist medication preparation overseen by a registered pharmacy technician or pharmacist. Accurately pick drugs for packaging and file them accordingly. Taking inventory of all medication and pharmaceutical supplies.. Receive and file inventory efficiently and accurately. Restocking shelves with medications and other pharmaceutical supplies. Attending to emails and fax messages. Ensuring that work areas are organized and clean. Provide an excellent level of customer service to all clients. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills, self-directed work ethic, and an ability to multi-task are a must. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Independent thinking and ability to solve problems. High attention to detail while being efficient and able to manage time. Quick learner and ability to adapt to new information and routines. Experience with Kroll software is an asset.
Experience:
Pharmacy assistant experience preferred. * Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience is preferred.
