Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge & excellent patient care skills.

Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physicians' orders and legal regulations Provide expert consultation to patients and healthcare providers regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions Monitor patient medication therapies to ensure safety and effectiveness Administer medications when required, including injections or other medical procedures as authorized Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all pharmaceutical activities and patient interactions Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and review patient care plans Educate patients on proper medication management, including adherence strategies and lifestyle modifications Stay current with new pharmaceutical developments, regulations, and best practices in patient care

Requirements

Valid pharmacist license in Ontario Prior experience working with Filware Strong knowledge of pediatrics, patient care principles, and medical terminology Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Experience with compounding an asset
Schedule is 1-2 days per week & alternating Saturdays

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $48.00-$52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
