Job Description
Rose Valley Pharmacy is a locally owned and operated pharmacy seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in a Part time or Full time capacity. We take pride in providing excellent and timely service to our growing patient base, and promoting a positive, non corporate, working environment.
Examples of roles and responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently Counsel patients on proper medication use and possible side effects Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate patient records and medication histories Monitor drug interactions and contraindications Oversee medication storage and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations Provide immunizations and other pharmaceutical services as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution Holds a valid license with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia Prior experience in a retail pharmacy preferred but not required Commitment to patient care and practicing within the Pharmacists expanded scope of practice
