Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. The Pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and provide exceptional service to patients.

Duties

Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication administration. Provide patient care by counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions. Monitor patient medication therapy for efficacy and safety, making necessary adjustments in collaboration with healthcare providers. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and administration in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on medical terminology related to medications. Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals according to established protocols Prescribe

Qualifications

Active pharmacist license in Ontario . Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
