Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care, managing medication therapy, and educating patients on their medications.

Duties

Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness. Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized medication plans. Monitor patient outcomes and adjust therapy as necessary. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and medication administration. Participate in clinical rounds in acute care settings, providing expertise in pharmacotherapy. Educate healthcare staff on medical terminology and best practices in medication administration. Stay current with advancements in pharmaceuticals and participate in continuing education.

Skills

Strong foundation in

patient care

principles to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes. Experience or knowledge in

for managing medications for children effectively. Proficiency in

to communicate clearly with healthcare professionals. Familiarity with

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $36.49-$61.52 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
