Job Description

Gateway Pharmacy, a family-owned independent pharmacy serving the Surrey community for over 25 years, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic pharmacist for a flexible part-time or full-time position (32+ hours/week).

Opening hours are Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm, closed Sunday and holidays.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative community practice and primary care setting as we partner closely with an integrated team of physicians at our neighbouring clinic. We have a fully staffed pharmacy at all times, allowing full day pharmacist overlap on most weekdays, and between 2-4 assistants everyday.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluating prescriptions for appropriateness and accuracy Providing counseling on prescription and over-the-counter medications Collaborating with healthcare providers to enhance patient care Supporting daily pharmacy operations
Qualifications:

Licensed and in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists Injection certification
Desired Skills & Attributes:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to patient-focused care Experience with pharmacy computer systems (WinRx preferred but not required) Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, or Vietnamese is an asset but not required

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
