Summary:

We are looking for a community pharmacist who is willing to commit to us long term for 1-2 days a week. Additional hours and shifts may be available as well if interested.

About the role:

To ensure all prescriptions are dispensed in accordance with regulations and to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to our patients. We are looking for someone who is a team member and who will become an integral member of our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed according to regulations and the highest quality of care is provided Advise, supervise, and lead dispensary staff as required Present a professional image and provide friendly customer service to foster relationship building with our clients Practice pharmacy within the College's Scope of Practice and guidelines for providing pharmaceutical care Ensure that narcotics are properly received and recorded at the dispensary Provide, document, and bill all pharmaceutical interventions/opinions/services as appropriate Document patient counseling in Fillware for all prescriptions as required by provincial regulations. Assist in ensuring timely and accurate completion of third party processing, billing, re-submissions, and reporting Protect patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with regulations
Qualifications & Job Requirements:

Must be licensed in Part A of the Ontario College of Pharmacists register and in good standing Must be reliable and consistent for shifts A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Exemplary verbal and written communication skills Superior interpersonal skills, with a commitment to provide exceptional customer service Familiarity with Fillware is an asset, but willing to train candidate if needed Highly organized, takes initiative, and has excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

pharmacy licence (member of Ontario College of Pharmacist) (required)
