Join a Winning Pharmacy Team providing patient care in a newly designed clinic space! This pharmacy will have a groundbreaking pharmacy design with 3 clinic rooms, a new dispensary layout, PC Health, and a specialized Pharmacy Care Concierge to direct Customers to the right areas of the Pharmacy, allowing you the Pharmacist to spend more time delivering Clinical Services to your Patients!

Spend quality time with your Patients in the fully equipped clinic rooms, assessing and treating for minor ailments, with medication-grade vaccine fridges in every room so you can administer injections safely and with confidence!

This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing and delivery of Rx accurately and timely. Ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patient\xe2\x80\x99s needs, and counsel with appropriate documentation to all patients. Provide friendly, positive, and pro-active interaction with all internal and external customers as well create awareness and educate customers through public relations.

What you\'ll do

• Counsel of patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and pro-active interaction
• Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)
• Administer Vaccinations and other activities as legislated by the Pharmacist Scope of Practice Program (Point-of-Care testing, Prescription Modification and Advancement, Minor Ailments, etc.)
• Provide Pharmaceutical Professional Services such as Medication Reviews
• Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
• Ensure medication and over the counter supplements inventory levels is adequate to meet patients\xe2\x80\x99 needs
• Provide timely and positive resolution to patient\xe2\x80\x99s needs and Doctor\xe2\x80\x99s requests/issues
• Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
• Provide on-going training for all new and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, assistants, students, IPG\xe2\x80\x99s)

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need:

• Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, and a Class A Pharmacists license a must (Membership in good standing with no cautions or previous findings)

• Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
• Excellent leadership and performance management skills required
• Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills including the experience formulating and executing action plans
• Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of HealthWatch Pharmacy Computer system a definite asset
