Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medication and will work closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret physician prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy. Provide medication counseling to patients, including instructions on proper administration and potential side effects. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness, safety, and adherence. Educate patients and caregivers on the importance of medication compliance and health management strategies. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Valid pharmacist license with College of Pharmacists. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pediatrics, acute care, and patient care principles. Experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Speaking fluent Cantonese/Mandarin is an asset but not mandatory.
