About Us:

Silver Sky Guardian Pharmacy is a community-focused independent pharmacy committed to excellent patient care, accuracy, and friendly service. We are looking for a part-time pharmacist who is professional, patient-centered, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Assess and dispense prescriptions accurately according to OCP standards Provide patient counseling on medications, side effects, interactions, and OTC products Administer vaccinations (flu, COVID-19, travel vaccines) Minor ailments assessments Complete MedsCheck and medication reviews Identify and resolve drug-related problems with prescribers Oversee pharmacy operations and support pharmacy staff Manage inventory, narcotic control, and maintain accurate records Ensure compliance with all federal/provincial regulations and OCP guidelines Deliver exceptional customer service and build patient relationships Store opening, store closing procedures

Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the

Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)

Injection certification required Community pharmacy experience preferred Knowledge of Kroll is a requirement Strong communication and problem-solving skills Able to work independently and multitask in a busy environment

Schedule

Part-time: 1-2 shifts every other week Store hours are 10a-7p on weekdays and 10a-4p on Saturdays Occasional Saturdays
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour

Experience:

pharmacist: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Pharmacy License (required)
