Zen Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy in Port Moody, British Columbia. We are looking for pharmacist(s) that can work in a collaborative care setting and provide consultations and clinic services.

OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK Shared facility/premises with Zen Family Medical Clinic pharmacy assistant on site
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug information, while supervising the assistants and students.

Possible Shifts:

TUES -FRI 9:00-6pm and 1-2 weekends per month (Saturdays 10am-4pm + Sundays 11am-3pm; closed all statutory holidays )

Responsibilities

- Dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions

- Provide advice on the dosage of medications and potential side effects

- Perform immunizations and run flu clinics

- Provide Medication Assessments

- Collaborate with healthcare providers onsite to ensure optimal patient outcomes

- Maintain accurate patient records and inventory of medications

- Double Check Compliance Packages/work of assistants and students.

- Monitor drug interactions and offer consultations on over-the-counter medications

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree

- Valid state pharmacist license in good standing

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations

- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $55.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
