Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately using Kroll pharmacy software, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapies, Administer immunizations and oversee medication administration processes in accordance with medical management protocols. Manage inventory levels meticulously, including stock replenishment, medication ordering, and proper storage to ensure availability and safety. Perform patient service duties such as counseling on medication use, potential side effects, and adherence strategies to enhance patient outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare teams on pain management plans, medical management strategies, and pediatric care when applicable. Utilize pharmacy software systems efficiently for prescription processing, documentation, and reporting purposes. Support pharmacy technician staff by providing guidance on workflow processes and ensuring accurate medication dispensing practices. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives related to medication safety, inventory control, and patient care standards.

Qualifications

Valid pharmacist license with current registration in Ontario Proven experience in pharmacy practice within community setting Proficiency in Kroll pharmacy software
