The Pharmacy Manager/Owner plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department within a healthcare facility. This position is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients, managing pharmacy staff, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of pharmacy practices, particularly in pediatrics and acute care settings. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self driven individual to join our team as a partner in the pharmacy.

Duties

Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. Oversee medication management processes, including medication administration, dispensing, and inventory control. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans that include appropriate medication therapies. Conduct regular training sessions for staff. Monitor patient outcomes related to medication therapies and make necessary adjustments in collaboration with the healthcare team. Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently by managing workflows, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining a safe environment. Stay updated on industry trends, new medications, and changes in regulations that may impact pharmacy operations.

Proficient at operating Kroll software. Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
