Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist for every Weekend only(Sundays only while Saturdays can be added on demand by the candidate) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Ability to do Med-Checks will be an advantage which can be incentivized.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy. Prepare and dispense medications accurately while adhering to safety protocols. Provide medication administration support and guidance to healthcare staff. Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and interactions. Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapies as necessary. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of medication usage and inventory management.

Qualifications

Active pharmacist license to practice in Ontario Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
