The Dispensary Pharmasave in Woodstock, ON is looking for a Full-time Pharmacist to join our team.

We are open M-F 9.30am-6pm and Sat 10am-2pm, closed on all Sundays and statutory holidays. This position will be perfect for someone looking for a more rewarding pace of practice.

Key Responsibilities

Provide all clinical Services and administer vaccinations. Dispense prescriptions and provide patient counselling Ensure that the pharmacy operates in accordance with all federal, provincial and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice Responsible for the direct supervision and management of all members of the Pharmacy team Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy while ensuring that staff are properly supported Investigate medication incidents, participating in root cause analyses and implementing preventative measures Responsible for inventory management and audit processes Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must be licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists Injection certification is required Compounding experience Is a definite asset Working knowledge of equipment and technology commonly used in the pharmacy environment (e.g., Kroll) Self-motivated and able to work independently Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal/external contacts, both orally and in writing
