Calian is proud to continue a long-standing contractual relationship with the Department of National Defence (DND) to provide healthcare services to the Canadian Armed Forces. Through the Health Care Provider Contract, Calian employs health care professionals across Canada who are integral to supporting the health and wellbeing of our military members.

Position Overview

Military members stationed at CFB Halifax receive medical care from the on-base medical clinic, which includes a Pharmacy. working with an interdisciplinary team, the Pharmacist is responsible for providing quality care to their patients. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 0730 \xe2\x80\x93 1530; 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Dispensing medication, providing health education, teaching and managing the inventory of the Pharmacy will be your main role.
  • Working with internal patient records systems to manage patient files and ensure continuity of care.
  • With a full interdisciplinary team at your fingertips, you will benefit from being able to discuss patient care with Physicians and Psychiatrists right away and in person
Qualifications
  • Licensed as a Pharmacist in Nova Scotia
  • Minimum two years of experience working as a Pharmacist
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to obtain Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
