Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, medication management, and medical terminology, with experience in hospital or acute care settings. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, providing medication counseling, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physicians' orders and legal regulations Provide expert consultation to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify patient treatment plans Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including medication histories and documentation of interventions Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations Stay current with new medications, medical research, and industry best practices to enhance patient care

Skills

Proven experience in community pharmacy settings with proficiency in Kroll System. Strong knowledge of minor ailments, immunization, Medschecks. Excellent understanding of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations Exceptional communication skills for effective patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00-$53.90 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 18 per week
