Overview

Duties
Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy. Dispense medications accurately and provide clear instructions to patients regarding their use. Monitor patient medication therapies for safety and efficacy, making recommendations as necessary. Provide patient education on medication administration, potential side effects, and interactions. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient interactions.
Qualifications
Active pharmacist license in Ontario. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about industry trends.
