About Us

Mettra Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy proudly serving Medicine Hat, Alberta. We provide high-quality, patient-centred care with a focus on clinical services such as vaccinations, medication reviews, and prescribing for minor ailments.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Pharmacist to join our friendly and professional team.

Responsibilities

- Accurately dispense prescriptions and ensure compliance with Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) standards

- Provide patient counselling and optimize medication use

- Conduct medication reviews and chronic-disease management programs

- Administer vaccinations and injections (if authorized)

- Supervise pharmacy assistants and technicians

- Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with all regulations

- Collaborate with prescribers and contribute to expanding our clinical service offerings

Qualifications

- Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)

- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD (or equivalent)

- Injection authorization preferred (training support available)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient care
