We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care practices, particularly in hospital settings. Experience in acute care and pediatrics is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Review and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
Provide professional counseling on medications, disease management, and health promotion.
Conduct medication reviews (e.g., Medication Reviews Services - MRS, Adaptation, Pharmacist Prescribing).
Administer vaccines and injections in accordance with BC regulations.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Ensure compliance with provincial and federal pharmacy legislation, policies, and standards.
Supervise and support pharmacy assistants/technicians.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications
Licensed and in good standing with the
College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
.
Bachelor of Pharmacy (BScPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Injection certification (required or willingness to obtain).
Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Previous retail or clinical pharmacy experience an asset.
