Pharmacist I
Job Description
Your Opportunity:
You will be part of an enthusiastic team of pharmacists providing clinical care for our 300-bed hospital. We provide direct patient care to our in-patient programs: psychiatry, general surgery, general medicine and ICU and to our outpatient programs in Alberta Kidney Care South, Emergency Medicine and Enhanced Care in the Community, which provides oversight of antimicrobial use for patients in the community.
Description:
As a Pharmacist I, you will be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. You will manage medication therapy for patients, both initially and on an ongoing basis. In addition, you will provide assessment, intervention and resolution of potential or actual drug-related problems and oversee activities related to compounding and packaging.
