Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing, able to work in a busy environment and collaborate with our team of doctors and clinic staff.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy. Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions. Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness and safety, making recommendations as necessary. Collaborate with healthcare providers in acute care settings to develop and implement patient-specific medication plans. Provide pharmaceutical care in pediatrics, ensuring age-appropriate dosing and administration. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions. Educate patients and their families on health management strategies related to their medications. Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacotherapy and hospital protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is required. Compounding experience (topical creams) is an asset. Demonstrated ability in medication administration practices. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care.
