Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team.
Responsibilities
Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy. Prepare and dispense medications accurately, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions. Monitor patient responses to medications, making necessary adjustments in collaboration with the healthcare team. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles. Educate healthcare staff on medication management practices and protocols. Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to patient care discussions. Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution. Active pharmacist license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmacy practice. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
