Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes. This role requires expertise in medical terminology and a strong commitment to patient well-being, particularly in pediatrics and acute care settings.

Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide medication counseling to patients, addressing questions and concerns regarding their prescriptions and overall health. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop optimal medication therapy plans for patients. Monitor patient medication regimens for efficacy, safety, and adherence, making necessary adjustments as needed. Conduct health screenings and immunizations as part of comprehensive patient care services. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions in accordance with hospital policies. Educate patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Stay current with advancements in pharmacotherapy, medical terminology, and best practices in patient care.

Qualifications

BSc Pharmacy (with OCP license ) degree from an accredited pharmacy school. Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice. . Proficiency in medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about new medications and therapies.
