We are looking for a highly motivated and professional Pharmacist to assume a
full-time, permanent position
. The successful candidate will be integral to our operations, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical services, including immunizations, while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing both clinical and operational duties with a high degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Patient Care:
Deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care, including detailed patient counseling, comprehensive medication reviews, and chronic disease management.
Immunization Services:
Administer injections and vaccines.
Pharmacy Operations:
Accurately manage all aspects of the prescription process, including dispensing and inventory control.
Technical Proficiency:
Efficiently utilize Kroll pharmacy software for all dispensing activities, claims processing, and billing.
Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain strict adherence to all standards, guidelines, and legislation set by the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) and other governing bodies.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring
5 days per week
.
The core schedule includes
four (4) weekdays and every Saturday
.
Weekday Hours:
10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday Hours:
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods or staff shortages is required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a community pharmacy setting.
Mandatory proficiency with Kroll pharmacy software and experienced in billing.
Certified to administer injections/vaccines.
Proven ability to work independently, problem-solve effectively, and manage pharmacy operations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong patient-focused approach.
