We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient care. The Pharmacist will be responsible for medication management, patient education, and providing pharmaceutical care to diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities
Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
Prepare and dispense medications accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans.
Maintain accurate records of medication administration and inventory management.
Experience
A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or equivalent pharmacy degree from an accredited institution is required.
Good standing member with the Ontario College of Pharmacist (OCP)
Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred.
Proven ability to deliver exceptional patient care with a focus on safety and efficacy.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with other team members.
