Centro Healthcare Pharmasave in Vaughan has a career opportunity available for a pharmacist - Permanent part-time or full-time.
A part of Centro Healthcare, the pharmacy team provides care to many patients around the GTA. Pharmacists also work with family physicians at Centro Healthcare for a true integrated approach to health for our patients.
What you can expect as a member of our team:

• Full-service, well-staffed, modern pharmacy.
• Pharmacists working to full scope of practice (injections, minor ailments assessments and prescribing, medication reviews, chronic disease management, immunizations etc.)

• Kroll Paperless Workflow pharmacy software
• Pharmacy assistants
• Flexible hours and schedule (Saturday shifts only 10-2pm)
• Integrated health care with doctors at Centro Clinic

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• dispensing and compounding pharmaceuticals,
• providing expert advice on medication use and potential interactions,
• managing drug inventory and stock,
• overseeing pharmacy staff,
• handling patient questions on OTC items,
• managing physician queries on medication or interactions

Qualifications

• Licenced Pharmacist in good standing
• 1 year of community pharmacy experience preferred (at an independent pharmacy)
• Working knowledge with Kroll preferred
