Job Overview
Caledon East Guardian Pharmacy is seeking a part-time pharmacist for 2-3 shifts per week. This great opportunity allows you to work in a small town pharmacy with great staff and patients. You will be working closely with pharmacists, assistants and students. Must be licensed with OCP. Shifts are 9:30AM to 7PM Monday to Friday and Saturdays 9:30 - 5PM. Only 15 minutes from Brampton and Bolton.
Responsibilities
Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications. Prepare and dispense medications, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide patient education on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. Perform vaccinations as needed Able to assess for minor ailments No Methadone dispensing
Requirements
Registered in PART A with OCP. Knowledge of Propel RX is recommended but not required. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care. Ability to work collaboratively with staff Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 17 - 25 per week
