Job Description

We are looking for a full-time pharmacist to join our team. Great work environment, staff and pay. Our objective is to engage in community pharmacy that transcends the conventional fast paced prescription filling approach.

Full

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently

- Provide medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions

- OTC counseling

- Administration of vaccines

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

- Monitor patients' medication therapy for effectiveness and safety

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Collaboration with pharmacy assistants to accurately dispense prescription medications

- Oversee and manage all tasks executed by pharmacy assistant

- Stay informed about new medications, treatments, and developments in the field of pharmacy

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist in ontario

- Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations

- Familiarity with medical terminology and abbreviations

- Fillware software knowledge required

- Administration of vaccines certificate required

- Compounding Experience preferred

Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy staff

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong problem-solving skills to address medication-related issues or concerns

- Knowledge of insurance billing procedures and regulations

- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
